According to the White House website on October 9thThis strategic plan was released by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office, outlining five development goals: ① Ensure that the United States maintains a world leading position in nanotechnology research and development; ② Promote the commercialization of nanotechnology research and development; ③ Provide infrastructure to sustainably support the research and deployment of nanotechnology; ④ National participation to increase the workforce in nanotechnology; ⑤ Ensure responsible development of nanotechnology.
