However, traditional protection measures such as circuit breakers are not sufficient to protect new systems under high DC voltage, so it is necessary to introduce new technologies in the field of protection devices. One of them is solid-state power controller（SSPC）It combines the function of connecting the load to the busbar and protecting electrical equipment from overload and short circuit.

On the other hand, in these electrical systems, the connection of certain loads (such as very capacitive loads) means that new control strategies need to be developed to improve the connection process of SSPCs. This article introduces and analyzes a new advanced control strategy that can optimize the connection of capacitive loads using SSPC.
